Manufacturing Supervisor
An employer in Oxford, OH is looking to hire a Manufacturing Supervisor.
Shift:
Monday-Thursday 5:
30 AM - 5 PM (10 hour shifts) This individual will be responsible for overseeing a team of 40 first shift employees (assembly workers, fabrication, and insulation).
Responsible for day to day management including call outs, attendance, conflict resolution, Kronos timesheets etc.
People placement, managing assembly operations.
Leading process improvement and continuous improvement.
Driving safety, quality, on-time delivery, and productivity.
The plant manufactures Busway fittings (metal to conduct electricity) - plant is a union facility managing union workers.
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)1-3
years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing settingStrong leadership skills - good interpersonal and customer relations3
years manufacturing experience - knowledge of processes and systems including lean principlesDetail oriented (many small moving parts)Technical acumen and ability to pick up systems quickly Someone who can deal with conflict resolution and is a good leaderTeam player and work well with others Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Business Process Improvement Conflict Resolution Customer Relationship Management Electrical Installation Work Leadership Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
