Support development, production and implementation of tactical marketing initiatives aimed at increasing customer retention, strengthening brand image, improving margins, and increasing market share for Miami University Auxiliary Service Departments.
Duties/Physical Demands:
1. Works with Marketing Manager to develop overall merchandising strategy and implements the tactics that are established on a regular planning cycle.
2. Coordinates collection of data for development of unit specific Marketing Plans.
3. Collaborates with Marketing team and peers to develop an inclusive communication strategy that includes multimedia, public relations, design, proofing, print production, distribution and installation of collateral.
4. Assists with account specific websites and social media channels to promote both departmental programs, as well as all other initiatives to strengthen brand image.
5. Conduct audits of departmental locations to determine signage and promotional needs
Facilitate market research endeavors such as surveys and focus groups.
6. Execution of interactive and engaging events by incorporating creative experiences to generate awareness, drive customer conversion, create followership, and increase brand loyalty.
7. Support sales initiatives, orientation events, and special events with all specific university customer segments (i.e. students, parents, faculty, athletic, administrative staff, external clients, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates in relevant field (Marketing, Interactive Media Studies, Arts Management, Public Relations, or Strategic Communications)
Required Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity of Adobe Creative Suite programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Basic understanding of Graphic Design and best practices. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and maintain a high level of productivity and quality, achieve success working without supervision and in a team environment, follow detailed instructions and retain information, and troubleshoot technical issues in order to move forward with a project.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's in relevant field (Marketing, Interactive Media studies, Arts Management, Public Relations, or Strategic Communications)

40 hours
Work Hours/Schedule:
Generally 8am-5pm during academic year; 7:30am-4:30pm during summer; will vary and include evenings and weekends as needed.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
