Job Description Summary:
Job ID = 3537 Course support staff work directly with OPC course instructors to prepare materials and equipment for courses and to serve as an assistant to the instructor. Experience is not required (but preferred) as each support staff will be paired up with a course instructor and be required to shadow 1 full 6-week sprint course prior to serving as the support staff. Responsibilities:
Available to attend class sessions as needed to assist instructor.
Ability to competently demonstrate sport-specific skills to course students.
Assist the course instructor in field experience trip planning and preparation.
Attend course field experience to meet risk management and industry standard participant ratios.
Assist the course instructor with post field experience wrap up (paperwork, equipment storage and clean up).
Attend OPC All Staff meetings and trainings.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have CPR, First-Aid and BBP certifications. Prior experience in one or more of the following areas: backpacking, canoeing, kayaking or rock climbing.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
