Job Description Summary:
Job ID = 2303 Miami Middletown's Public Affairs department has an opening for the Information Desk located in the lobby of Johnston Hall. We are seeking an individual who is self motivated, dependable and familiar with the Middletown Campus who is willing to work evenings (usually no later than 7:30 pm) and some weekends.
Main responsibilities include: Operating a mutli-line phone, handling guest walk-ups, data entry, mailings and strong grammar and proof reading required.
Examples of other assignments could include: cleaning and stocking displays, providing support for various campus events and staffing a campus booth at expos and fairs.
Hours available through spring exams are Monday 9 am - 2:30 pm, Wednesday 8 am - 3:15 pm and Thursday 10:30 am - 1 pm.
Minimum Qualifications:
Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Preferred sophomore status or higher.
