Job Description Summary:
Job ID = 3057 A group of Student Aide workers in this position will provide coverage in the Conference and Event Services Office for Miami University. Tasks will be executed on a daily and weekly basis to support the planning, billing, and communication of details in conjunction with events and conferences occurring on Miami's campus.
An extensive knowledge of the services surrounding events and conferences at the Shriver Center, Armstrong Student Center and Marcum Hotel and Conference Center and throughout campus will be gained by successful candidates. Candidates considering careers involving customer service and event planning will gain valuable experience for future jobs
Minimum Qualifications:
Prior customer service experience required; strong organizational and/or leadership skills from any employment background will be considered; strong communication skills, both written and oral, are required. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated problem solving skills.
Within 3 weeks, student employees are required by Miami University to sign the FERPA Release form, sign a Student Confidentiality Form, and complete "University Vehicle Driver Safety Training".

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
