Job Description Summary:
Job ID = 2341 The graphic designers work with HWC staff and the marketing team to create promotional materials with eye-catching and professional design. Design projects may include the following:
print and digital marketing materials that reinforce the center's visibility and brand on campus
fliers and posters that promote HWC services and events
logos and t-shirt designs
website photos and graphics
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants for this position must
be a rising junior or senior with a Graphic Design major and possess demonstrated design skills
be proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and in Design (or similar graphics programs)
be creative, open-minded, and flexible
be well-organized with strong time-management ability
work effectively with a team
Previous professional graphic design experience is not required but preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate Consultants
current first- or second-year MU students
must be able to take ENG 359, "Writing Center Consulting," fall 2015 (MW, 2:30-3:50)
must be available to work in the writing center spring 2016

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
