Student staff duties include:
Operate the point-of-sale system to serve customers
Assist with stocking food & merchandise at the back of house
Assist with maintaining a neat and orderly market (displays, rows)
General upkeep and cleaning
Expectations:
Commit to a minimum of 6 work hours per week
Provide a high level of customer service with a positive attitude.
Strong sense of teamwork and accountability.
Willingness to learn new duties and grow professionally.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications to Apply:
Must be a registered Miami University student with 6 or more registered credit hours.
Must be able to follow detailed instructions and retain information
Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours
Ability to list, pull, grab or reach items weighing up to 30 lbs
Requirements once Hired:
Completion of ServSafe Level 1 exam
Completion of the Miami University Student Confidentiality Agreement
Completion of the Miami University FERPA form (reference requests)
Completion of any other mandated departmental training

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
