Job Description Summary:
Job ID - 6242 This position will provide a broad hands-on experience in the Regionals Office of External Relations & Communications. Most responsibilities will take place on the Middletown campus with some travel required.
Duties will include, but are not limited to
Responsible for helping develop content for Miami Regionals social media presence through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Youtube. (Includes writing and design.)
Help create content that includes taking and editing photos and videos to post timely information to social media platforms and to the Regionals campus website.
Write media releases and stories, highlighting student success, alumni achievements and faculty accomplishments. Includes curating questions and interviews handled in person, over the phone or through email.
Create external email marketing through the EMMA platform.
Event Support - usher, booth staffing, runner, etc. Some nights and weekends availability required.
Keep mailing lists current through online research and updating Excel files.
On occasion, will work on general mailing projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
Skills Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Includes strong proofreading skills.
Experience with design software (Canva, Adobe, etc.).
Basic knowledge of Social Media ?in a business setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Provide a creative sample this may include one of the following a writing component, design piece or a video.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
