Miami University's Regional Campuses is seeking an Assistant Clinical Lecturer or Assistant Lecturer in Accounting within the Commerce Department to begin August 2019. The position will serve the Regionals locations (Hamilton, Middletown, and West Chester).
Duties/Physical Demands:
Teach face-to-face and online undergraduate courses in accounting; advise undergraduates; provide service to the university, campus and profession.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in business and evidence of successful teaching at a collegiate institution (for appointment as Assistant Lecturer) or Master's degree in business, CPA and five years of relevant professional accountancy experience (for appointment at Assistant Clinical Lecturer).
Preferred Qualifications:
Consideration may be given to candidates with substantive professional accounting experience; both a Master's degree in business and a C.P.A.; a minimum of two years of experience teaching accounting courses; or experience or interest using active learning strategies and online teaching.
