Job Description Summary:
Job ID = 6622
The student ensures the safety and well-being of all patrons while maintaining a visibly positive and approachable composure to promote patron-employee interaction.
Ensures weight plates and dumbbells are properly stored and organized (requires ability to pick-up and move 45lbs and greater weight).
Ensures the Fitness Center facility and all Fitness equipment are well maintained and regularly cleaned to provide the best environment to our patrons.
Provides assistance to Group Fitness Instructors and Personal Trainers.
Manages the Fitness Center's Cardio Machine Sign-up system.
Manages patron check-in for Group Fitness classes.
Provides assistance and addresses patron questions and concerns about the Fitness Center facility, exercise instruction, Fitness programs, and equipment use.
Provides top level customer service to all patrons and guests in the facility.
Maintains an awareness of patron use and activity of the facility.
Minimum Qualifications:
The following certifications are NOT prerequisites and in-house training is offered. Incumbents must have the certifications prior to being hired OR obtain them within 30 days of being hired.
Blood Borne Pathogens (BBP) Certification
American Red Cross CPR & First Aid Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Maintains CPR, First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogen Training.
At least 6 hours of Academic Standing with a University or High School.
Works a minimum of three shifts or 10 hours per week

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
